Come meet other new parents with little babies!
We will meet in Prospect Park at the Picnic House at the top of the hill on Tuesday, October 7th from 11AM-12:30PM. Bring a a blanket to sit on. Get to meet other parents also on leave with their little babies navigating this beautiful, challenging, overwhelming and unpredictable transition into new parenthood. Can’t wait to see you there! Please note that this group is for the birthing parent and their baby/babies.
**If Vickie, the facilitator, has to attend a birth on this date, the event will be moved to the following Tuesday, 10/14 at 11AM.
About the facilitator:
My name is Vickie and I am a Brooklyn mom of 2 (a 7yo and an almost 3yo), a birth doula, a postpartum doula, a childbirth educator, a lactation counselor and a home birth assistant. I care deeply about creating spaces for new parents to connect. When I became a new mom 7 years ago, finding a community of other parents with little babies who were navigating the same things that I was felt unbelievably grounding and helpful. I have been running new parent groups continuously for 5 years.

Once a month we meet in-person in Prospect Park on Tuesdays 11AM-12:30PM or at an indoor location as needed
other Tuesdays, we meet on Zoom 12:30PM-1:30PM:
Join other new birthing parents in community - each session allows new parents to connect with each other about their current experiences and, through conversation, covers topics that could include birth experiences, sleep, feeding, relationships, cabin fever, self-image and more. Babies are welcome to attend, no matter what state they are in!
